Singles in Ministry

Shoulder to Shoulder, an initiative of One Another Ministries, exists to empower, equip, and encourage single mission workers, their teams, and agencies.

Servant Leadership

Claybury, an initiative of One Another Ministries, exists to provide tools, training, and coaching to develop and encourage Christ-centered servant leaders.

One Another Ministries was founded 22 years ago by a group representing several different mission organizations who recognized the need to strengthen and encourage Christian workers serving around the world. Dr. Robert Lugar was part of this group and has served as the ministry's Executive Director since. Several years ago, Robert asked the Board to develop and set in motion a succession plan to position the ministry for effective service in the years and decades to come.

As part of this transition plan, the Board voted unanimously to appoint Harry Robinson as the new Executive Director, beginning April 1, 2019. Thanks for praying for Harry and his wife Wendy as they take on this new position, seek to honor the Lord, care for His servants, and lead the ministry forward.

“What a privilege to be part of what God is doing through this very special ministry! Over the years, so many missionaries have been helped, encouraged, and blessed. Of course, we want to continue in that same vein. We are praying for the Lord to raise up new workers to join us to continue offering the training, consulting, counselling and resourcing – basically caring for missionaries around the world.

We are also praying for widening vision to see what other ways the Lord opens to us in being a blessing and showing care to those who are on the front lines obeying the Great Commission. Missions is ever changing, as is technology, yet the needs of missionaries continue to be real.

Consider this:
  • Perhaps the Lord would have us offer training in different formats.
  • We look for the Lord to provide new partners in ministry, so we can show something of the wonder of the Gospel in working together with others committed to the Great Commission.
  • God is opening many new doors of opportunity through the Shoulder to Shoulder initiative, focused on helping singles and couples serving together in the Great Commission.
  • We want to offer more resourcing as one of our key pillars of ministry – be that in the form of a book, helpful material or even practical support, as the Lord would provide.

We want to help missionaries continue – for the long haul! God is their Source, and He uses ministries like One Another to provide for them and their mission organizations. My prayer is that many of you will join us on this continuing journey of showing God’s heart – His Gospel Caring Heart - to His sent ones.”
