Haven of Hope

Haven of Hope is the location of One Another Ministries newest ministry center headed by Russ and Diane Dean.

They Deans first arrived in Brazil in 1981 where they first ministered in Sao Jose dos Campos and then in Uberlandia, a region where Gospel preaching churches were few.  They started two churches there, one in the city of Araguari and the other in Uberlandia.  After 6 years they returned to Sao Jose dos Campos, where Russ was pastor of Missions.  In 1989, he founded a new church in the city of Cacapava, and in 1995, began a new work in the city of Jacarei.  In 2004, Russ accepted the pastorate of a new baby church on the other side of Jacarei. Thankfully, all of these works have been turned over to Brazilian pastors.

Because of the enormous problem of the 33,000,000 street kids in Brazil, Russ and Diane sensed the need of reaching these disadvantaged children.  The Lord miraculously provided a 48 acre farm where the installation of Haven of Hope began.  In March of 2005, the first project for needy children, A New Tomorrow, began.  During the past 6 years, Haven of Hope has attended to the needs of over 129 children.  The program operates half a day providing 30 children with transportation,
2 meals, uniforms, 6 different workshops, and most importantly, spiritual teaching and guidance.  They are so grateful the majority of these children have accepted the Lord and have a new perspective and hope in life.  Russ and Diane's desire is to have 2 sessions a day in order to reach more children.

Claybury International is engaged in the care and development of Christian leaders, missionaries and Christian organizations on a global basis.

Its directors, Colin and Lorna Buckland, and their staff specialize in providing consulting and mentoring for senior organizational leaders while offering specialized training and pastoral care the organizations they serve.

One Another Ministries International enjoys a warm relationship of synergy and cooperation with Claybury International. Where possible, the two organizations seek to combine their skills in fruitful ways that serve their preferred ministry outcomes.

The purpose of SIM is to glorify God by planting, strengthening, and partnering with churches around the world. Their major focus is on reaching unevangelized people groups -- seeking to minister among individuals and communities who have never had the opportunity to understand the Gospel.

SIM has come alongside One Another Ministries by assigning two of their missionaries, Dr. Rick and Irene Lange
, to serve full-time with our team. The Langes are a vital part of our ministry team, providing invaluable insight and field experience.

Caring for Others is a member care ministry to those who minister. Led by John and Janet Certalic, its goal is to reduce missionary attrition by caring for Christian workers so they can spread the gospel as effectively as possible, to as many as possible, for as long as possible.

Since its founding in 2002, Caring for Others has served numerous missionaries from 32 different mission agencies serving in 41 countries around the globe. Services they offer include training conferences, missionary debriefing, and counseling.

One Another has had the pleasure of tracking with this ministry from its beginning. The two organizations enjoy a close relationship -- seeking opportunities to share resources and expertise.
